Welcome to the Te Awamutu Academy Hub

The development program designed to give young TA footballers the opportunity to train at a high level under the guidance of our Director of Football.

These sessions are focused on helping players reach their potential by providing insight into how footballers are developed and what it takes to progress in the game.

Training will take place every Friday starting in Term 4.

There is a mandatory T.A. Acadmey Kit (Shirt/Shorts) to buy at a cost of $90 - this is yours to keep​​​​​​​

We look forward to seeing our young players take the next step in their football journey.

One session that is open to all 9th grade to 13th grade 

Session is 4:00pm to 5:00pm at Sherwin Park in Term 4

No player limit on this session. 

This runs throughout the fourth term, starting 10th October 2025 ​​​​​​​and cost is $80 for 8 weeks

Monday Night Academy – Invite Only

Te Awamutu AFC is proud to host our Monday Night Academy, an invite-only programme designed to support the development of promising young players in a focused and high-quality training environment.

📍 Location: Sherwin Park

🗓 Day: Mondays (Term 4)

Session Times:

• 3:30pm – 4:30pm | 9th–10th Grade

• 4:30pm – 5:30pm | 11th–13th Grade

This academy is not open for public registration. Players are selected and invited based on performance, potential, and commitment. If your child has received an invitation, please ensure they arrive promptly and are prepared for training.
