Teams We Enter
Te Awamutu AFC is the oldest club in the Waipa District. In 2025 it had 6 Senior Teams with 4 mens teams and 2 womens teams. Te Awamutu AFC offers players various levels of football to suit.
Mens teams - We have teams training 1-2 times a week and playing in in Division 1 to Division 4 and 1 team in the Waibop O35s league.
Our 2 womens teams play in the Waikato Division 1 and 3 competition.
Membership Fees
All clubs have been advised by our governing federation (WaiBop) that Affiliation Fees for Seniors will increase 15% year on year for the next 5 years (inclusive of this year).
Like all clubs of a similar size we rely on funding , sponsorship and runnning additional programmes such as tournaments, holidays programmes and 5 a side to survive and breakeven. Membership Fees only account for 35% of total income.

Senior Casual (10 games max) $230
Senior players may register as full‑season or casual, with fees reflecting the level of participation.
Playing Boots and Shin Pads
To participate in the season all players must playing in boots and use Shinpads. The club will provide a numbered playing jersey, socks and shorts.
