Teams We Enter
Te Awamutu AFC is the oldest club in the Waipa District. In 2026, we will have 7 Senior Teams with four men's teams and three women's teams. Te Awamutu AFC offers players various levels of football to suit.
Men's teams - We have teams training 1-2 times a week and playing in Division 1 to Division 4, and 1 team in the Waibop O35S league.
Our three women's teams play in the Waikato Division 1, 2 & 3 competition.
Membership Fees
All clubs have been advised by our governing federation (WaiBop) that Affiliation Fees for Seniors will increase 15% year on year for the next 5 years (inclusive of this year).
Like all clubs of a similar size, we rely on funding, sponsorship and running additional programmes such as tournaments, holiday programmes and 5-a-side to survive and break even. Membership Fees only account for 35% of total income.

Senior Casual (10 games max) $230
Senior players may register as full‑season or casual, with fees reflecting the level of participation.
Playing Boots and Shin Pads
To participate in the season, all players must play in boots and use shin pads. The club will provide a numbered playing jersey, socks and shorts.
